Permanent full or part time Registered Nurse role, Monday – Friday with no weekends or late nights.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Nurse Prescriber to join the general practice team at Ohope Beach Medical Centre. We are looking for someone who can bring clinical excellence and a passion for improving the health of the community in a primary care setting. We can support your professional development into primary care-based areas such as practice nursing, mental health, nurse prescribing, nurse practitioner training pathways.
You will be working with skilled clinical and administration colleagues and be supported by a dedicated leadership team.
Do you have what we are looking for?
- Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) with the NZ Nursing Council.
- Your practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.
- Prior experience in a medical Centre is desirable.
- MedTech32 or MedTech Evolution experience is desirable.
- Competent in areas of nursing in either or both primary and secondary care
- Willing to continually learn and improve.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong rapport with team members.
- Confident, friendly, and approachable.
- Hold a current Vaccinator and Smear Taker certificate (advantageous)
- Computer literate.
