I would like to take this opportunity to thank each one of our staff and partners for all of their hard work in what has been both a challenging and rewarding year for the EBPHA.
The unpredictable nature of the past year has impacted our general practices and community, and prompted our staff to re-evaluate and plan responses with other community agencies and our partners in health.
Our purpose as a Primary Health Alliance is to ensure that we have capability and resources embedded in the Eastern Bay so that we can continue to be consumer-focused, flexible, and adaptable to servicing our community’s needs.
It continues to be our view that the greatest opportunity we have to improve patient experience and to deliver greater equity, efficiency and value from health delivery systems in the Eastern Bay is to address the fragmentation of existing services that serve our community of 56,000.
We look forward to the opportunities that will present themselves in 2023 and feel confident in our position to utilise them as a collective.
I’d like to wish you a very happy and safe Christmas with whānau and friends and the very best New Year.
Ngā mihi maioha,
Greig Dean
