Eastern Bay of Plenty Primary Health Alliance (EBPHA) is excited to announce Poutiri Wellness Centre joining the Alliance effective October 1, 2024. This partnership will strengthen the Alliance’s ability to provide comprehensive and accessible healthcare services to the community.

Poutiri, a holistic wellness centre, has worked in health for coming up 30 years and is dedicated to making health, employment, and wellness services more affordable and accessible for whānau. Poutiri also has a network of Hauora providers spanning across the Bay of Plenty. By joining EBPHA and  Poutiri’s extensive network of hauora and healthcare providers will enable both to deliver even more impactful, accessible and affordable services.

The Eastern Bay of Plenty Primary Health Alliance is a network of general practices, nurses, and other healthcare professionals that serve over 29,000 patients in the region. The Alliance is committed to addressing the unique healthcare needs of the community, including those of Māori, people living in deprived circumstances, and individuals with high healthcare needs.
